2020 Achievement

1.Indigenous language Textbook materials and teaching aids.

    (1)Since 1997, there have been 4,562 bibliographic materials, textbook materials, and other learning resources, including 2,391 online textbooks and 2,171 paper-based textbooks related to indigenous languages. 

    (2) The textbooks are divided into publication units, book title/chapter name, year, author, type, a brief description of content, people groupings, dialect, target audience, and method of acquisition, which are all organized as booklets.

2.Indigenous Language E-learning site (web.klokah.tw):

    (1) This year, we completed the revision of 9 levels of textbook content, digital textbook format adjustments, the development of an intelligent query system, an adjustment of writing symbols, and the design of a textbook editing mechanism.

    (2) We have produced 10 online theme-based picture books, 10 online picture book lesson plans, 40 English translated picture books, 16 English animations, daily life corpus examples compilations, and video productions on 12 life topics in 42 languages, built an English version website, and held two promotional activities for the Indigenous Language E-learning site.

3.Teaching aids and textbook materials for Indigenous children.

    (1)2 new teaching aids have been developed; the Indigenous children’s language learning picture boards have been revised; 2 textbook materials editing team meeting have been held; 3 immersive language teaching children’s operation trial activities have held; and 5 regional promotional sessions have been held for the children’s Indigenous language learning teaching aids.

    (2)A total of 4,000 new teaching aid sets have been developed, prospected to be produced and distributed by the end of March 2021.

 

2021 Achievements

1.Indigenous Language E-learning site:

    (1)In 2021, we have delivered 10 picture books and picture book lesson plans in 42 Indigenous languages, 10 English picture book translations, 12 themed life example sentence compilations in 42 Indigenous languages, 12 life example videos in 16 languages, life example sentences and short essay interactive exercises in 42 Indigenous languages, a four-way interactive teaching module in one language, a smart recognition application, and a textbook reading primer introduction platform.

    (2)We have conducted two national promotion conferences attended by 53 participants, four website promotions and teaching activities attended by 125 participants, and two information promotions for teacher training sessions attended by 55 participants.
